Terms of Service

Last updated: October 27, 2026

These terms apply to Periodline (the “software”), provided by Atesen Software (Samet Ateşen, sole proprietor), Adapazarı, Sakarya, Türkiye (“we”, “us”). Contact: sametatesen2@gmail.com.

1. Who sells the paid plans

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

2. What the software does

Periodline is a calculation and document tool. It reads the schedule lines you give it (prepaid expenses, deferred revenue, accrued expenses and fixed assets) in your browser, spreads each line over its months using the method you choose (straight-line book depreciation for fixed assets), and produces a QuickBooks Online journal entry import file, a posting record and a working paper. It does not give accounting, tax or audit advice, it does not calculate tax depreciation (such as MACRS), it does not post anything to QuickBooks or any other system, and it does not connect to any bank or accounting system.

2a. Your responsibility for the figures

You choose the lines, periods, methods, useful lives, salvage values and accounts. Check the journal entries against your records before you import or post them, and check the working paper’s closing balances against your balance sheet. Keep the posting record (or the company file) safe: it is what stops a month from being posted twice, and it is kept only in your browser and in the files you download.

3. Free use and paid plans

The free version keeps one company and makes the journal entries, posting record and working paper for 3 lines (the first lines in the file; once posted, the same lines in every run). The Standard plan is a subscription (US$19 per month or US$190 per year) that removes the line limit for up to 3 companies in each browser. The Practice plan (US$49 per month) removes the line limit for any number of companies. Paddle adds sales tax, VAT or GST where it applies. A license is for one practice or business and its staff and contractors working on its own or its clients’ books. Do not share the license key outside it.

4. Renewal and cancellation

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until cancelled. Cancel at any time from the link in your Paddle receipt email, or by emailing us. Access continues until the end of the period you have paid for; we do not charge again after you cancel.

5. Refunds

See our Refund Policy. It does not affect your statutory rights.

6. Your data

Schedule files, posting records and company files are processed in your browser and are not uploaded to us. See the Privacy Policy.

7. Acceptable use

Use the software only for data you are authorised to process. Do not attempt to bypass the license check or resell the software.

8. Warranty and liability

We work to make calculations accurate, but spreadsheet layouts and QuickBooks settings vary and the software is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Trademarks

Intuit, QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online are trademarks of Intuit Inc. Periodline is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Intuit.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes to paid plans apply from your next renewal, and we will tell subscribers by email beforehand.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without affecting mandatory consumer protections where you live.
